The AIDA 3 course is designed for those looking to advance their freediving skills and reach greater depths safely and confidently. By the end, you’ll be able to hold your breath for 2:45 minutes and dive comfortably to a depth of 24-30 meters. Over the course, you’ll:

  1. Advanced Techniques & Physics: Master breathing, relaxation, and equalization techniques, and understand the physics of buoyancy, freefall, and pressure to improve your efficiency at depth.
  2. Physiological Insights & Training: Learn how your body adapts to deeper dives, and apply targeted training methods to enhance breath-hold, strength, and endurance.
  3. Confined & Open Water Practice: Refine your skills in both pool and open water, focusing on FIM, CWTB dives, freefall and safety protocols like buddy rescues in real-world conditions.

Meeting at the shop.

09:00 Theory Session

Advanced physics knowledge and physiology of freediving. Advanced relaxation theory and equalization.

10:30 Body Conditioning

Body warm-up, lung and diaphragm stretching.

11:00 Confined Water Session

Refine techniques for static and dynamic apnea, buddy system, safety and rescue procedures.

13:00 Break

14:00 Theory Session

Freefall theory and training methods for body adaptation to breath-holds and max attempt.

15:00 Confined Water Session

Apply training methods for CO2 table, STA an DYNB max attempt.

08:30 Body Conditioning

Body warm-up, lung and diaphragm stretching.

09:00 Boat Ride

Boat ride to the first dive spot. Relaxation time and briefing.

10:00 Open Water Session

Refining techniques for FIM and CWTB dives to a maximum depth of 25m.

12:00 Lunch on the Boat

Boat ride to the second dive spot. Relaxation time and briefing.

13:00 Open Water Session

Practicing AIDA 3 skills and advanced equalization, FIM and CWT dives to a maximum depth of 25m.
